  • Funny thing is that EVERY time they try to update the piano it fails and they revert BACK to the classic design.  Any advances should be made to the action, string scaling and soundboard shaping, i.e the crown and tapers. Ah yea Fazioli and Steinway still do this as do Yamaha. Loads of "art" contemporary pianos have been made over the years, you cannot beat the classic shape of the piano and I love clear ones with lights.
