The former Dutch ESA astronaut Wubbo Ockels (1946) made a statement concerning the sinking of his sailboat Ecolution, the most sustainable yacht on earth today. On the night of November 30 2010 the electronic wiring / equipment and the enormous battery-pack of the Ecolution was destroyed. As it seems a professionel skilled person made the boat sink for half a meter, not much, but enough to cause damage for meaby a million euro. In the days after this deed of sabotage on the cause of sustainability, Ockels promised a reward of 10.000 euro for the person who can explain him the reason why this happened. For the Dutch magazine on sustainability, P+ People Planet Profit, Ockels made this announcement in English. Ockels is now professor of Aerospace for Sustainable Engineering and Technology at the Delft University of Technology.
