  • That is a drywallers dream, and just dont push too hard on the wall, might bend that flimsy little thing, he makes it sound like there isn't too many 22" blocks laying around........lol Maybe if you wouldnt' have used trusses huh. I am pretty sure there is more tree waste when you use 2' center 2x6 vs 16" center 2x4, larger dimensional lumber uses older growth trees. Then you have to use a stronger drywall, more expensive batt material/sqft and so on.
