Any area that doesn't have people in the water and is safe from getting dashed by waves. Good luck and fast retrieves!

@Marinto2007 Go to my forum and click on technical stuff, then go to gear-picks. I was in your area 30 years ago. Very beautiful. I wish I was into fishing then. Aloha, Mark

@whiteykauai it would be my pleasure if you come to Los Cabos. but with all the experience you got now, and your lures, you'll be able to catch a jack, yellowtail, mackeral, red snapper or snook from shore. I already saw your gear, tnx. Saludos!!!

Mahalo. The set up is braid to mono and then to a Macmahon snap swivel. I use a Bimini to double the line, then a Uni-Uni to connect the Seaguar Fluorocarbon leader (3-4'), then the snap with a Palomar. As far as retrieve patterns, I consider each cast and retrieve like a brushstroke on a watery canvas. Mix it up as much as possible and move to a different location after a few casts.
