  • Thanks for posting some of the obscure Tony Orlando songs. With the possible exception of "Halfway to Paradise," and "Bless You" in 1961, Tony didn't really "break out" until he became part of Dawn ("Tie A Yellow Ribbon", "Knock Three Times", etc.) in 1970. This particular song was from 1962, and the flip side ("At The Edge of Tears") was pretty good, too.

  • Your welcome! Yes, it's strange how things happen. Tony was fantastic before Tony was known. The same thing with Simon & Garfunkel. With all the great sounds they did before Bridge Over Troubled Water, no one never new them. There older recordings were fantastic their newer sounds were terrible, can't figure? Early Johnny Rivers was also among that group that were fantastic before known. The only song I liked after he was known was Poor Side Of Town, the rest, nah! Thanks again!

  • I like the song. Except I mis-read it. I thought it was a song about chilis.

  • I agree with you totally, they were all better in their early recordings.

  • thanks for that!........is this the original version?
