Does anyone know how to remove rust from my Porsche 924 fuel tank with it still attached to the car?
-
sounds like its not running on all 4 pots.
-
i have the same car, but its a 77, and it soundsed the same for a while. if i were you, id look into an MSD 6a ignition unit and a MSD Blaster 2 coil. its probabyl the easiest way to get the most out of your 924 =]

Keep going. Once you get this bitch tightened up she will SCREAM through the corners on downshifting.
-
Gotta break her back in bro. Just keep running her and stuff will fall into place..just watch the oil pressure if you have a gauge

Very cool. I got a '77 that I JUST got cranking. It sounds like it isn't getting fuel or something, none the less it isn't turning over. You know what the problem is?

Your fuel pump should be loud, you'll hear it turn on in the back located near your gas tank. As long as that is pumping fuel, you can benchtest it to make sure. Otherwise, make sure your fuel filters (one for the fuel pump and one up near fuel distrubutor) are not clogged. Order to check should be: Pump>fuel accumulator>fuel filter>fuel distributor>injectors. BTW you can test the fuel pump (bench test) with the same tubs on it with a 12v car battery.
