Short video showing a fast method to farm a ton of rugged leather / hides, as well as some greens, and vendor crap. If you also noticed, this isn't retail. This is from a private server I've been playing on, Scriptcraft. 100% vanilla, and pretty clean. Check it out if you're looking for a private server to roll on.
Other then that, you can make around 2-3g from 1 run by the grey loot that drops from the beatles, and is increased by any greens you may find, or really lucky and some epics. I've only done this on a hunter, and I'm not sure if it can really be done by another class besides druid (getting past pat and having a decent AoE).
Well, hopefully this won't be removed in the future as it's honestly the fastest way to farm piles of leather and hides.
