The 1978 song is off the album "Not Shy" and hit #8 that year. The inspiration for the song is rumored to be Stevie Nicks of "Fleetwood Mac". Stevie actually does sing background vocals while Lindsey Buckingham and Richard Dashut, all of "Fleetwood Mac" fame, produced.

  • ONE OF THE SEXIEST SONGS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrMrLico the story behind the music pretty much tells the story of why it is what it is(was a stevie nicks and buckingham collaboration)

  • Did he have any other hit?

  • @bama3417 pretty much his only hit

  • You are incorrect about Stevie Nicks singing background. It was in fact Annie McLoone, who you see here in the video.

  • @80sbuttrock Look at "They Just Can't Stop It"(Games People Play) by the spinners....what is in the video is not ALWAYS who sang the part

  • I loved ithis song and remember it well. I love the analogy between love and a magnet and steel. That is how it is with love - the pull is strong and is impossible to stop the connection, but more is required with human heart and holding the connection. Great love is required along with honesty and truth. Trust must be the solid foundation from which the connection can never be broken and it allows the love to build higher and higher and become more and more beautiful. Thank you.

  • Summer of 1978 rocked.

  • i love the way the background singers sound just as much as the singer

  • This song is boss.

  • I remember hearing this on the radio and assuming it was John Lennon.

  • @80sbuttrock you are wrong.lindsey buckingham played on this song and sang backup with stevie.look it up.

  • Love that 50's flavor they added to this video..Line dancing is still alive and doing well.

  • @SiglundR miss you Heath

  • Have loved the song since it came out. Interesting how differently you envision the singer to when you actually see video. This guy had a Heath Ledger thing going long before Heath Ledger...

  • Ohhhh..... This is awesome! Totally the best tune on any jukebox for sure! Peace

  • Billy Corgan kinda looks like him>
