They all serve their purposes, but which one do you use?

  • WoW what? I stopped using all three like 5 years ago lol.

I use either VLC or KMPlayer.

  • i wish that there was a player that could play everything that was not third party.

would it be so difficult for apple to get quicktime to play everything and microsoft to get WMP to play everything?

Certain media formats are owned by different companies so one company can't make a media player to support all formats.

  • Realplayer does way more

  • RealPlayer

WMP has been giving me headaches for years. After I read this comment, I thought I'd look up KMPlayer. And now, I love it. Thank you, wasaskeppet, thank you.

  • windows media center in win 7 for watching movies, dvd's and blu rays, itunes for music and windows media player for online videos

  • realplayer is ok for downloading video files but its burning software is an absolute nightmare..waste of money

  • i use windos media player

  • I wish you could watch youtube with quicktime.

  • i hate the new divx player doesn't work for me i had to get the old version again

  • Real Player is the best - QuickTime is the worst. I kept WMP as my default player to distinguish RM files from the rest. As soon as I downloaded Real Player all my problems disappeared. Videos with no sound suddenly had sound. I wasted time downloading audio codecs for WMP but all I really needed was Real Player. It has a browser with a download button and a sleek interface that looks great on my 50" tv. I suggest changing the startup preferences from "feature" to "now playing".
