All this material has been produced by Erik Van Ness, hyper-talented imaging productor, unfortunately he lost his life after a long battle with cystic fibrosis. I've always been a fan of his work, even If I was pretty young at the time. His promos always impressed me...it was right to the point, dynamic and even funny (he was singing some of the promo jingles with his wife!). Since then, NJ101.5 has introduced The Erik Van Ness Scholarship Award in Recognition of Outstanding Creativity awarded to a college or university students majoring in broadcasting production.
