@Jfad18 No it's a reference to the musical Gypsy. The story is that the main character, Louise (who ends up becoming the stripper Gypsy Rose Lee - hence the musical's name) and her sister June are pushed by their mother into show business, but June is the performer, so the mother is always calling out from the side of the stage "Sing out Louise!" because Louise is the shy one and just wants to be in the background.
