The Sermon On The Mount updated version

I don't think it a good idea to distribute a commercial that states that they don't believe that Jesus meant what he said.

He does have a point on Sermon on the Mount, Sermon on the Mount is an ideal above goverment and policy, why lower it down to goverment? Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world, he also preached to love your enemies, that includes terrorists and America's "enemies". Jesus also said let that of ceaser be of Ceaser, I don't get why you people contradict Jesus' teachings. If Jesus teachings were followed the world would be better, but we have shown so far that paranoia wins.

@ogirv101, Jesus was murdered by the church + the state of the day for the very same reason. He stood for freedom + enlightenment, not their exclusive rule by their laws, uhh. That included the legalistic church as well as the legalistic government, even tho it was a Roman Caananite puppet state then.

Do U know WHY U exist? Is it merely to ever bow down to others? God's law is not mans' law - but man will eventually cease to exist on this planet as a result of ignoring "god's law" (law of Karma, etc etc) which is th enatural law of the Creator of the Universe. I happen to be a christian and he is twisting the words of the bible, the bible says if your child strays away from you and insults you and refuses to change and feels stroly to those belifes then thats when you stone him but still the bible says that has really never happened before

It seems to me hes mocking us not the scriptures. In other words, which of the scriptures would you choose from today to justify your behavior? He implied if you really read the bible and believed in what it says then there should be less hate, and more love in the world for one another. Is not that the Sermon on the Mount? Moreover, how dare you so arrogantly imply that God only loves and protects Americans? Man, President Obama is correct. You dont read your Bible.
