One lap around the pattern in a Cessna 172 (13151) at Norwood (KOWD). I hadn't flown in over a month so I wanted to get some take-off and landing practice. I almost had to scrub the flight because during the run-up, the engine ran rough on the right magneto. So I leaned the mixture and ran the engine at around 2,000 RPMs for about a minute and then the engine was smooth again. This is a two camera set-up, with one camera trained on the MFD, which was in reversionary mode. This way, the tach shows up - since I was in the pattern, I didn't need the other features of the MFD. The wind was calm during the entire flight which is nice but actually makes landing a little more difficult cause there's no wind to slow you down.
@rleyte77 My setup is facilitated by poles on the front seat headrests. I use the Mini Cardellini Clamp with a Standard Noga Arm available at Filmtools with a Panasonic HDC-TM700K camcorder. A second camera is a FlipUltraHD mounted with a Universal Clamp Camera Mount from Saferacer. I had tried suction mounts but had problems with the mounting falling - not a good thing - although it happened during taxing.

What cameras did you use? I have an HD Kodak, but it doesn't have the wide lens.
