  • You may want to include some dehydration salts or just pure sodium chloride (Table Salt packet). Just in case you get dehydration which i hope will not happen.

    Just a suggestion. Good Video = )

  • Thanks, I do have salt in my pack, but not specifically in the first aid kit. A useful item to have, good suggestion.

  • My kit is very extensive being that my wife is a Doc. the super glue trick works very well I have used it numerous time. A good thing for bug repellent is a cheap cigar yes cheap cigar don't inhale just puff and get the smoke on you there lite weight cheap and they keep. Try to get a surgical stapler as well they don't hurt are good for larger wounds I have also used them. I have to much to list and it weights about 5-7 pounds but can treat most anything

  • Sounds like a great kit and sounds like you have some pretty extensive supplies for a kit in the 5 pound range. Also, you're lucky to have such a resource. Thanks for your suggestions.

  • The pack rat kit is pitiful.Just pitiful.See my site for a REAL 1st aid kit.PITIFUL.

  • this is a good video i hope to be a good survivalist like u when im older

  • I like it! My only suggestion is adding some imodium AD or some other type of anti diarrhea medication. It's not something that anyone wants to deal with in a survival scenario.

  • great video and youre a nice guy thanks

  • good video and great kit, i am going to get that snake bit kit for sure, living in texas and everything. i have almost everything u have i might suggest some instant cold compacts they r a little big but i think they r a good idea.

  • Alcohol pads would be very handy for washing blisters and/or cuts just don't get pulled over for drunk driving!

  • @warhawk357

Thanks, good to know. The video is very helpful.

  • @topmadison

yeah try to get the wound as clean as possible iodine or anything similar will do fine remember the glue is a temporary fix till you get some were you can really get a good wrap of suture on it.

  • @warhawk357 things for explaining how to use this trick. Should I apply anything

before using the glue? like povidone-iodine?

    Thanks.

  • 5 people were lost before and didn't have a survival pack
