  • Look this wasn't scrapped cus of the fallout...Because on 2001, there was the track "the Message" which was also written by royce...this song was just cut like some songs are off of albums, business is business this has nothing to do with that fallout between Royce and em or Dre and Royce

  • @DollaMayne303 but royce wasn't rapping on that song, in fact royce even complained that he hadn't even been paid for that song

  • Dre scrapped the original Bad Vs Evil project along with this track & a few more that Royce had penned for the album. Be sure to cop Bad Vs Evil on June 14th... Shady n Royce bringin back that real rap, leave the bubblegum for the bitches!

  • @MrDonJuanMarco the new bad meets evil will probably suck

  • i remember hearing about this on a dvd.

  • really? what was the dvd?

  • Underground shit is awesome! too bad they didnt release this on album. How can i get this on a cd ?????

  • ya royce is dope dont get me wrong but i like nate dogg killed the hook. that xxplosive is my fav dre song . this is a dope song too. just sayin i have been hooked to the chronic 2001 the only cd i was able to play thru n not skip a track. that shit kills any shit put out now

    peace

  • verses on this are better, but nate dogg was a much better choice for the hook.

  • @andy6908 this was the original i think g. it got scrapped when dre and royce fell out

  • Bag Lady? Xxplosive? This beat is originally off of "Bumpy's Lament" by Issac Hayes. Dre uses the original artists not only because to get them to work for their money but to better manipulate the song without peaking and tweaking the pitch of the original song.

  • @andy6908 I think it is better that the original.

  • @andy6908 .. almost ?

  • I think if they left this version on the album Royce would have never been underrated and overlooked until now.

  • the bass is taken from mobb deep

  • Some songs just get redone once dre does something. This song wouldn't of fit in with th other tracks of on 2001 or the flow that dre wanted to take it so he scaped the vocals and had different artist rap for it, or sometimes he even has more then one version of a song and it just comes down to picking which one he likes better.
