Jesus show us the way to defeat the devil by faith, hope and love in Jesus we will be able to defeat the work of devil through our obedience to the word of God.

Pain and suffering comes from the consequence of our sin against God through our pride and greedy. And because of our sins through Adam and Eve, God promise to the evil and to the woman. He said, " I will put the enmity between you and the woman . . ." So it is not between us and God, we can't challenge to go to the war against the almighty God, but it is our war against other creatures of God, that is the devil.

Why would God allow suffering in Christians?
Question is: Why do Christians allow suffering?
Why do we - as Christians allow others to suffer? Aren't we God's tool? Than how dare anyone Question God.
God gave us all choice. It was people who choose to turn against God.
The bible says - Return to me - I shall Return to you.
Why do God allow us to sin? God is merciful. He doesn't have to put up with our wickedness, but he does. How dare anyone question God. His ways are not our ways.
