  • Sorry I accidentally clicked thumbs down (stupid touch screens) I tried clicking thumbs up afterwards, don't know if this cancels the thumbs down out.

  • Ice cores layers happen whenever the temperature goes up and down, they often get 9 layers in a week. There is no ice core dating.

  • Searching for oil reserves?

yeah, I mean what exactly does the project entail, what are the ulterior motives?

What's with all the Public Relations clowning?

Is it a rock band, what is it?

  • Ever heard of Glacier Girl? She alone proved the layers of clacial ice cannot be tens or hundreds of thousands of years old, and that the layers are not annual, but storm of snowfall produced.

  • The ice cores show CO2 increases FOLLOWING temperature increases. CO2 is an EFFECT, not a cause.

Methane cycles in a similar fashion. Perhaps the alarmists claim that CO2 makes methane increase ?

What do the alarmists claim the cause of CO2 increases to be ?

  • Not exactly. The ice cores go down about a mile or so in some areas, but the ice at the bottom on land is most likely not the same ice at the bottom a million years ago. The ice sheets slide forward to the ocean as if it is a slow moving river. So much has been washed away.

  • Do you know if 800,000 years are as far back as the cores go? If that's the limit, could it mean the ice was not there? Could that then be the last "major" global warming? Does this timeline match up to any theorized meteorite impact? Just curious...

  • The Antarctic ice cores certainly do show cyclical climate changes in the past. But they also show that the climate change that is happening now is very different and is happening much faster than anything that has occurred "naturally" the past 800,000 years.

  • WOW! I wonder if it shows any "cyclical" global warming, like what were experiencing now?

  • About 800,000 years
