She was George Clooney's aunt. On his father's side of course, given their surnames.
Not grandmother. Only one generation, not two generation gap in their ages.

PURE CLASS
-
If it was possible, her voice became even better with age.

A simply marvelous rendition of classic song by a beautiful & talented lady!
She carries this song with nearly no accompaniment, what a voice. Not too many "singer" before or after can do this.
-
Even at an older age, her voice is still remarkably beautiful. I'd kill to steal her vocal chords and jazzy style!!
-
i love you rosemary

George's grandmother?! Jeez! You aren't good at math, are you?! There never many stars like her. Wonderful singer and actress, and great person. A high point was her recording with Duke Ellington's band!

@jimbob5599 : Nope, she was his aunt.

NIce to see all the appreciation here for the one and only Miss Clooney.

Rosemary had a brain.
I like the way she lags slightly behind the beat when she sings swing tunes. It creates just the right amount of tension.
Magnificent delivery.
