  • For someone I never knew I am taking Ms. Snow's passing quite hard. I grew into adulthood with her lyrics and stylings. "It Must Be Sunday", "Harpo's Blues", "Poetry Man"...all are part of my fabric. We miss people most when they have left us for good. We are now poorer for having lost our sister

  • somehow our happy romance ended suddenly, still in my heart you'll be forever mine...no regrets...thank you Phoebe....

  • I will never forget her.

  • @memfisman Amen indeed. Phoebe's voice carries soul and heart in every note. Her body of work offers a true portrait of gifted artist.

  • ..sheesh, Couldn't you clean up the AUDIO a bit before uploading it??? Run it through a pop/click filter, for crying out loud! I remember seeing Miss Snow performing this song on Dinah Shore's show back in the 70s .. I wish that I could find a copy of that version.

  • Oh, I love her so much. Second Childhood is such an amazing album. My mom listened to it all the time. Such warm and fuzzy memories.

  • I had the honor of meeting Ms. Snow before her show at my college in 1974...she was amazing and I will love her forever. I painted my life with her music. Truly an Angel was among us for awhile, RIP Phoebe!

  • To: My Dearest Phoebe Snow ... "Thanks for leaving the (snow flakes) of "timeless memories" behind, for all of us to remember you by" ... You're truly, one of my best & greatest (Folk Tale Singers) of all times! ... (smile) ... "We all miss you dearly!" ...

  • Still in my heart you'll be forever mine Phoebe!

  • I just found out this morning July 19, 2011 that she died back in April. I don't know where I was in April not to have paid attention to this news. I love Phoebe. Discovered her back when I was 11 or 12 in 1973 or '74. I played her songs over and over again, but the funniest thing is that for years I thought she was black, just light skinnnned -lol. It wasn't until an older sister told me not long ago. I think it was the curly afro. I love you Phoebe.

  • @Saxman1219 How sweet and romantic. Love your screenname...can it take it for granted that you play?

  • @TheTruthUnderTheHood What the heck are you telling me that for. I am deep enough to know what Christmas is all about, my search is O-VER and has been for many years. Remove the last 3 letters in Christmas and your search will be over.
