@svartdahl The aim of the job of classical pianists (and other instru) is to keep alive musics which have been created several centuries ago, and if these works are still played now, it’s not by random but because they’re out of the commun run and deserve to not be forgotten.
If your own music is as good as these composers’s one, it will be still played in many centuries.

@svartdahl A very strange comment. I assume that it's meant to be tongue in cheek. Musicians play great music due to it being great. Simple as that. There are lots of people today composing music.

Well played. It`s a shame that this guy doesn`t play his own music. What is it with classical musicians, only playing what`s written many years ago? Classical music is like the art of copying. It demands a lot of practicing, but let`s face it: the musicians creates nothing that`s not beeing said before. I like the music, don`t get me wrong, but it`s still "cover"-versions of Chopin and the other great composers. I`ve played Chopin, Debussy, myself - still it`s a detour to make my own music :)

@0blacone ahh, I never knew the exact history of the piece and its title. Thanks for the information.

@caricama Well either way, this is not about a revolution, it is Chopin's anger, frustration, misery and well ... you know all those negative emotions due to the lost polish revolution against Russia. So basically your inteprentation is by far not wrong in anyway, but neither is this pianist's :)
Very clean and cut approach to this piece. I noticed his phrases and rationality inside this piece was very clear and vivid. Technically speaking his execution in every corner is certainly something to be proud of. Personally, I think this sounds a lot like Ricthers. Truely he likes this etude and I'm glad he shared it with such boldness.
But, I would also like to point out, that this etude is very hard to play musically for Pianists and composers. One of the many interpretations I say.

by "planning in advance," I meant utilizing the plan itself during the revolution. Excuse my lack of linguistic skills
