The only difference between then and now is the current logo is based on the Circle 7 logo of the ABC O&Os located on channel 7, in 83, CapCities, the then-owners of the station, only did it by coincidence.

Consistancy is what has kept WPVI on top for the last 35+ years, there is no need to make changes....
