  • @aureusbezant D'accordo! She brings so much vivid colors into the music by her tones and down-to-earth approach it was like I'm hearing this music for the first time.

  • What a revelation this is. Music lives once again under the nurturing hands of old school masters and away from shredders who prefer to leave you lifeless and uninspired by playing at 200mph. With Mdme. Slenczynska I can 'hear again', every note is savored and played with a profound conviction to play music instead of a 'cat and mouse chase'. And her tone for her age, priceless! Argerich and Hamelin, eat your hearts out!

  • Wonderful performance!

  • amazing pianist!! <3

  • I heard her play this in Brevard, NC about 1963.

She was great then and still is a wonderful artist. Exemplary.

  • She is how I remembered her. Old school playing I thought had vanished.

  • Fantastic as expected

  • Madame Slenczynska is very much still performing. Her next performance will be in San Francisco on 12/11/10. She states: "My next performance in your area will be for Pacific Music Society at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on Dec. 11th. I'll be playing some Brahms and Chopin on a program with many other participants because the whole thing is a charitable affair." The performance will be in the evening. Anyone interested in attending can contact the Pacific Music Society.

  • oh my god! thank you so much for sharing this!! one of my favorite pianisit!! always look forward to attending another concert given by her. Could you please share more from Slenczynska, it will be deeply appreciated, thank you so much!!!
