  • Love this car! I want one now.

  • @XxretardhaterxX It's been a great project for me, even though it is in pretty rough shape. I actually just posted a Frozen Battery cold start vid of it. That motor never lets me down. They make for great toys, Easy to work on, cheap parts and still good mileage weather carbed or turbo you can still get 30 MPG.

  • I was just using oem pipes from NAPA like 30 bucks for the two pipes. my shit is always pieced together. See if you can find an exhaust shop around you that has a mandrel pipe bender. if you can have them bend you a pipe it will flow better the the original or the store bought.

  • Sure, i'll sell cheap. the real question is how much would shipping be?

  • where did you get the spoiler? i have an 84 and the spoiler is cracked and i need a new one but cant find one anywhere, not really sure where to look. can you help me out?

  • @yesdudnotdud I have two extra ones LOL. One without the Brake light and one with the Light.

  • @SpaZZcoCanada Yeah I really love all these old 2.2's. The carb'd and tbi's still hold out with today'd economy cars, its just that they have the opposite hp and torque levels. Such a ratio of torque to hp isn't common on any engines these days. I've been thinking about getting an old 83.5 or 84 carb'd shelby and found your vid and now I'm pretty hyped to get one once i save up the $. I currently have a Daytona CS with a couple videos of it on my page.

  • @ClassicTVMan81 Were the last thousand DC or CS Rampages? I have an 84', it was built at the Belvidere plant. The only significant different from other Rampages would be the Prospector package.

  • hey ive been looking everywhere for the details of the exhaust system of these cars, top to bottom. i had an unfortunate incident with my 84 but found an 87 that needs an exhaust and im not exactly a gear head so i was wondering if you could give me the details of the exhaust system im lookin for and maybe a general price if you know. thanks alot.

  • History of engines used in Shelby Chargers:

    1983.5-84: Non-turbocharged, high-output 2.2L (107-110 hp) -- which would become the top-dollar engine for 1985-87 (non-Shelby) Chargers/Turismos.

1985: First turbocharged engine used (2.2L Turbo I), making 146 hp.

1986-87: Modified Turbo I engine, with intercooler for a new rating of 175 hp. Mostly used on the GLH-S Shelby Chargers.

Carroll Shelby bought the last 1000 Chargers from the Belvidere assembly plant, finishing them in Whittier, CA.

  • well my email is screwed =/. Anyway I'll take the spoiler without the taillight if it'll be easier from what you were saying sounds like it would be lol! but ya really either way is great.
