LMS 44871 & Jubilee 45690 Leander Depart Preston to Carlisle From Manchester Victoria

Thursday 30th December 2010 saw a West Coast Railways steam special from Manchester Victoria Station through to Preston and along the West Coast Main Line, WCML to Carlise. The train arrived at Preston at 08:45 from Manchester Victoria which can be seen in a previous video, this video shows the set departing from Preston on the Virgin Trains West Coast Main Line to Carlise at 08:57. The two steam train on this set are, LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 no 44871 and LMS Jubilee Class 4-6-0 no 45690 Leander with a old old Class 47 locomotive on the rear, which apart from the Pendolinos and Super Voyagers was the sight of the day lol. Very good Bradley, If only you could have got on the the old parcels line platform and been beyond the road bridge the departure would have been more spectacular !

@englischlokfuehrer Cheers David, Yer that would have been good. Sadly you need a pin to access that platform. I remember when I was younger theyused to park the Thunderbird over there and you could not get to it.
