your not the brightest huh? You are EXTREMELY uneducated on this matter. I had a home birth, and hemorrhaged quite profusely. AND had a full uterine prolapse. Guess what...?my midwife took care of it all, and I was perfectly OK! Just moments after she took care of me, I was up, eating, and enjoying my child.
Thats what they are trained for. She had everything she needed right at her finger tips to take of me, and the child. And she did just that.

I just had a home birth 5 weeks ago, nothing went wrong. While dangers do occur, it can happen at the hospital as well. To stay that home births are so dangerous is inaccurate and ignorant. Learn the facts before you open your mouth.

home births are DANGEROUS. it baffles me how a mother would put her own comfort ahead of the safety of being in a hospital. So much can go wrong during delivery. The baby can get stuck by it's shoulder in the birth canal, you can hemorrhage if your placenta tears away during delivery, you could have an amniotic fluid embolus, you could SUDDENLY lose the heartbeat completely and need an emergency c-section. what if you were at home and lost the heartbeat because you had an abruption?

let me just say that i think a lot of babies are kind of ugly but HE IS SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!! that is one of the cutest little babies i have ever seen! i am so happy for you guys.

Wow, my son was born May 8, 2006...I had a c-section also. I didn't want a c-section but he was breached and at that point my son's life was a lot more important than my delivery preference.
