  • Interesting video. Thanks for posting!

  • "Result: everything that's publicly funded in the US is crap"

False. We have the finest military in the world, and that's publicly funded. As for many of the other government programs you listed? I could care less. It isn't the job of the government to take care of you, it's your job to take care of yourself.

  • The tax rate could still be lower. We could abolish all federal income taxes if we would just cut spending back to the level that it was at in the year 2000, and we'd have a BALANCED BUDGET. But no, whiney leftists need their free handouts from big brother.

  • Your revolution started with a tax revolt and you've had taxes on the brain ever since. Result: everything that's publicly funded in the US is crap. Underpaid, corruptible cops; public schools that just came bottom of the heap in international tests; the world's most expensive yet inadequate health-care system; crummy, high-crime neigborhoods; underpaid incompetent public servants .... You have one of the lowest tax rates in the world, and still you whine.

  • Would that be the Alberto Gonzalez ass that you think is cleaner?

  • I'd also like to point out that the budget WOULD be balanced if the stupid politicians would just CUT THE SPENDING (note for dipshits like you: democrats aren't helping here). Tax cuts are GOOD as long as spending is cut until the budget is balanced.

  • "The Economist calls the Bush republicans "big-government conservatives". And that's what they are: instead of tax-and-spend, they do borrow-and-spend."

So? The choice is between big-government conservatives and big-government democrats. Two cheeks of the same ass, just one is cleaner.

  • The Economist calls the Bush republicans "big-government conservatives". And that's what they are: instead of tax-and-spend, they do borrow-and-spend. So everyone has a great party, followed by a hangover when time comes to pay off the credit cards. Higher tax revenues are not enough to cover the deficit.

  • Jeez, talk about an example of pathetic. Typical product of a grade 3 education in Georgia.

  • Once again, you failed to address the fact that after tax rates were cut, TAX REVENUE increased. The same thing happened during the Kennedy administration as well as another presidency in the last century - the three examples of tax cuts showing increased economic activity. The problem is runaway spending - and the democrats aren't helping there with their love for ever larger centralized government.
