The advanced course exposes cadet PJOC graduates to life on an operational Pararescue (PJ) Team. This course is sponsored by an active or reserve component PJ Team at the team's home station and allows the students to participate in certain PJ day to day training that will conclude with a Combat Rescue Training Excersise (CRETE) and an opportunity for students to challenge the PJ Physical Ability and Stamina Test (PAST).

  • i just joined cap and am in pretty good shape and wanted to apply for this. could someone give me the steps.

  • @sandra148fc1 We are Civil Air Patrol we are civilians & volunteers we are the official USAF auxiliary. We don't go over seas we stay in America & preform search & rescue, disaster relief, & other such activities. The activity in the video is a way for us to explore USAF career options.

  • @violinwesley Chief Wesley, it's C/CMSgt Bultsma from Hawk. I couldn't agree any more!

  • Excuse me. Just saying, but hope the video isn't compromising OPSEC, because it's showing the faces of PJs and other operatives. If it's all good, then I'm cool with it. :)

  • @yournameheresch REALLY? SO YOU RISK YOUR LIVES BECAUSE YOU CARE FOR THE SOLDIERS AND GO TO WAR AND DONT TAKE CREDIT FOR IT? I MEAN U ARE THE ONES WHO SAVE THE INJURED ONES,I ADMIRE YOU ALL FOR YOUR COURAGE MORE THAN BEFORE....HUGS AND THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO....SANDRA♥

  • @sandra148fc1 You do realize this is Civil Air Patrol, we not actually the Military...:)

  • I love how many people don't realize this isn't Superman School

  • i wish i could do this course but i just have no idea how :(

  • @aleksandrhall I wouldn't call it a joke, it is what it is: an opportunity for Cadet members of the Air Force Auxiliary to get an insight to what the Pararescue does and to spark interest in the Air Force while showing the cadets that they can do more than they thought and push themselves a little farther. I certainly wouldn’t compare it to true Pararescue training but it never was meant to be. If it was joke it wouldn’t bo going on its 5th decade?

  • @cmwjr This is a joke, whereas PJ indoc is not.
