Maylong $99 M-150 Android Tablet w/ Upgraded OS

The $99 Maylong M150 (bought from Walgreens, ha ha Apple, beat that) runs Android 1.6 and does not have Android Market. But you can download a rooted ROM off the web that runs Android 1.9 with Android Market installed. The upgrade process is very simple. Put the files on a microSD card and reboot... Speed also improved. See it in action. With a rooted OS, you can install apps off the SD card too.

You just need to load a customized ROM to root it. Google for various downloads (Youtube won't allow a link here). You download the ROM, put it on a MicroSD card, and reboot the device, it will enter a process of updating the ROM. Battery life can be improved by disabling some of the programs.
