Well, she romped 'em in the slop in the Oaks, but lately, I've been reading that running the fillies against the boys takes something out of them in the long run.
And, Larry wasn't scratching during this interview like he was in mine. Ha ha!

I know, people are so concerned after Eight Belles, but I think that's mostly a myth. Any veterinarian would tell you that a filly running against colts is not the cause of injuries/breakdowns. In Europe fillies run against colts in the biggest races on a regular basis and often beat them.
