Flume: 24 inches wide by 50 feet long, with glass walls and a horizontal bottom
Test Section: 12 inches (30.5 cm) wide by 25 feet (7.6 m) long
Discharge: 35 Lps (1.2cfs)
Sediment transport rate: Coarse sediment 50 g/m/s, Fine sediment 50 g/m/s, Combined 100 g/m/s
Sediment composition:
Coarse: 12 mm median grain size coarse gravel
Fines: 1.2 mm median grain size, grain size ratio of 10
Video frame notes: Horizontal scale is in fractions of an inch; vertical scale is in cm; view is at an angle between 15 and 30 degrees from the horizontal through the glass wall of the flume; moving frame videos follow the mean grain transport velocity.
Equipment: Cannon GL1 miniDV digital video camera; overhead halogen work light; camera was mounted to the traveling measurement cart.
