For a national sales meeting of approximately 800 sales people, technology (product) marketers were asked to have formal presentations for the breakout sessions, based around the overall meeting theme of "Gung Ho." It was a very competitive situation and very large corporations were presenting as well (ie: Toshiba, Siemens, GE, etc.) Rather than spew dull product data (that can be found on a product sheet) -- I opted to showcase the success points that are most motivating to sales folks; making money AND company support (service) of their sales efforts. It worked well, as a light introduction, as straight entertainment and "branding" us as a creative organization to do business with.
