@xheartless12x You're right, but not always. I've seen some Anime that totally screw stuff up from the Manga. Take Gravitation for example. The Anime is good, but it doesn't even cover half of the Manga, and a lot is just glazed over. Then take Hellsing. Also a great Anime, but the Manga is just so much better, in depth and in action. So while they can make it better, they don't always do it. In fact, most of the time it's just "as good," rarely better.

@MarynellaG not true... in cases like w/ fma and code geass the anime is definitely better than the manga it's one of the things i like about the japanese: when they turn a manga into an anime it's not like when a book is turned into a movie in the US where they always make it worse... japanese writers for anime can take a story from a manga and make it better.

Actually in this case the manga is easier to understand because the anime doesn't have an ending and jumps around a lot.
