so im wondering if anyone can help me out, if i get this mic, and i want to use the xlr output on it, can i plug it into my audio interface without a preamp or anything ??
Evaluating a microphone on it's feature set is good, checking them out against other mics in a test is obviously better.
In general I like to see stuff on the floor in shows I'm not able to attend. Add Alex Lindsay's expertise in video production and it is way more valuable than someone who simply looks good on camera and can talk.
I wonder if the addition of 24-bit audio will be enough to entice consumers. The regular Yeti sounds pretty good. Then again, the ability to run the Yeti through a chain (pre-amp, amp, mixer, etc.) might be worthwhile. Should be fun to see how it's received.
You got me curious to see if Andy is still using the Yeti. Time to download the latest Macbreak I guess.

Is the sound quality better on the Yeti pro OR the same as the normal yeti?
