That's a good point, that's why I'm still trying to acquire knowledge about it. Blind-faith is strongly discouraged, but as far as I know men couldn't have written such a book, especially in 7th century arabia. "Atheism is the default, rational..." Hmm let me disagree on that, I'm a physics studnt and I don't find that there is anything rational in believing that our perfectly mathematical universe is a random event, Like Richard Feynman said "it is a miracle in itself". But what makes you sure that your religion wasn't "made up by men" too? To compare atheism with religion makes no sense. Atheism is the default, rational viewpoint. Just like not believing in goblins, fairies, Zeus etc. I assume you don't believe in those things. If not, why not?

I'm glad you didn't start your comment with insults. "Everyone around" me are actually atheists, most of my friends. I never gave importance to religion, until last year when I turned 18, I started reading about the 3 so-called "abrahamic faiths". There are thousands of rleigions indeed, but how many of them were actually made up by men? Almost all of them. I'm not infected with anything, you don't know me nor what I believe in, I could say the same thing to you: you're infected with atheism ;)

People talk bad about Jesus, Moses and Budha all the time. We don't blow up buildings. If the Muslims want respect they need to start respecting the Western value of free speech. If that's too tough for them to understand then they can go home.
