@Phillies64 Well, I think Kirby got a raw deal like Steve Ditko. At least Sam Raimi put Steve's name in the credits for the Spiderman movies...

@FrankSavages Martin Goodman? It was not Stan Lee. Stan was a hired gun just like Jack. Jack's story should be a lesson to everyone who creates! Know your rights because you know damn well the guy who runs the business does! Nuff' said! Excelsior!

I think you're words are better applied to artists like Steve Ditko who got zero credit. Kirby didn't receive enough credit, but he didn't receive as little as people think.
Anyway R.I.P. He was the King.

What a shame Jack is not here now, maybe he could have lessened his workload towards the end and enjoyed his retirement as he deserved. It makes me sick these Hollywood producers are becoming millionaires in no time off Jack's work when Marvel wouldn't return his art or pay him his dues during his lifetime. Thanks Jack - you are a true Legend.
