Oh my goodness! Okay, so I just started knitting about two weeks ago and completely knitted a scarf unknowingly using this stitch! Ha! No wonder it's curled at the ends. I've been watching your other videos and am going to try another scarf using the loose stitch (sorry, don't know the right term) this time. =). Thank you so much for these videos!

STOP! Any Stockinette stitch will curl in. The best stitches for scarves are ones that are the same on both sides like ribbing, seed stitch or garter. Garter is the easiest. It's knit every row.

thanks a lot Judy. you're in my facebook. I just needed to know how it's done because I read on ravelry that it's good to do twisted ss stitch when doing transition from ss to garter (which leaves a hole) and this fixes the hole. did i understand it right? thanks!
