absolutely incredible, thanx for upload, i hope the id tech 5 sdk will be free for non commercial use, cant wait to play with this glorious monster

I don't know why you got a thumbs-down for that. That'd be awesome, especially as computer hardware has reached the horsepower now where John Carmack (ESPECIALLY John Carmack) can start programming for and testing Sparse Voxel Octrees (SVO's) and learning them and optimization without forcing them to be the entirely new focus of id Tech 6, and hindering development time.
SVO's are the future of gaming, as Carmack has even said in past Quakecon keynotes, and I LOVE voxels! =D
They're so useful.

I hope the technology allows volumetric rolling fog/smoke. Imagine a character walking through smoke filled corridor and reacting accordingly.

tribes 2 had fantastic GUI editor system a long time before Doom 3 was released. Looking at this, it may even be better than that.
i hope that this game what ever it might be, makes ID the best as in once was
