@PatTheBoone I don't really think it's fair to compare The Band and The Beatles. The Band was a blues band. And The Beatles were kind of 60's pop. Well, they did do blues in their early and late stages but their not a real blues band. So to compare the two is kind of unfair.
A blues band maybe in the early days? The first thing i thought of when i heard The Band's first two records was how country they sounded, not the blues.
