@shmuli9 - Hey - in Brisbane at the time, many of the roads were only paved in a narrow strip down the middle.

@oneleggedtog - And I would presume that colliding with a LR Defender would be 14 times more likely to kill someone than colliding with anything smaller and less rigid.

@oneleggedtog The Land Rover may be 14 times more likely to have the accident in the first place! The Mini's excellent roadholding was designed for active safety, not passive safety.
