that will overheat because there is not a hole on the protective paper use electrical tape instead and you can do the system update but games that have been scrubbed or brick blocked will not work

you would hvae to open your wii to see what kind of clip you need either a D2pro or D2CKey, or wiiclip

yoo I have a question.
I bought my Wii with D2Ckey, and I heard that I can't do the System Update (meaning I can't access Wii Shop Channel). Is that true? Because I want to download channels and games, but i'm afraid to make the update and lose my console.

If you bought it with the clip yes. Without the clip a D2CKey wire install is possibly the most difficult mod chip installation. 29 Wires to the legs of an ASIC chip.

I use PIC12F683 chips flashed with YAOSM on all non-D2C boards.
