Seems like Evan made good use of that hospital birth scenario. You were smart to take a picture of that true cord knot. Those things are really rare. Thankfully it didn't give you any trouble. Nobody wants to see that. Interesting that the sonogram didn't catch it.

@4breastfeeding Yes, I was very thankful to have made the choice to have him in a hospital setting. I was about to plan a homebirth but it's like something in my mommy instincts told me not to. It's like in my mind I knew something was wrong. Mother's intuition, I guess. The cord knot scared us to death. My midwife said she's only seen two in her 10 year career. Evan's a lucky little guy to be alive after all that. We are so thankful for him. He's a joy!!

We are expecting our first baby next month. They have found that she has TGA. It was nice to see Evan's story. Out of curiosity, did he ever have troubles with feedings? Our doctors have said that's one of the common troubles they have. Congratulations on your beautiful boy!
