  • What very great complicity betwen the 2 "players" This rhodesian is very nice , very smart

  • @Gairlochan

saved me from expressing very similar views. This video is madness,,,,,,

  • @Gairlochan I don't usually comment but your feedback is ridiculous. The dog in this video is having a great time from the looks of it; tail wagging everywhere!!! Being this well behaved and trained to heel doesn't mean that the dog will end up heeling 24/7 and for the rest of his life. He's "working" in this video but I'm sure he gets time to play. You think RR's were not trained to listen to "commands" and/or respond instantly to their owners when they were supposedly hunting lions years ago?

  • Sad… when is a Ridgeback not a Ridgeback? When it's a robot. Tremendous effort must have gone into this, all to eradicate every trace of 'ridgebackery' (the wonderful, independent-minded lunacy and endearing behaviour characteristics) out of a Ridgeback, destroying its essential character. There are many breeds whose joy is to do your bidding — that's what they've been bred for — why not choose one and make it happy? RRs were bred to think for themselves, and indecisiveness meant quick death.

  • Although I've never been a big fan of this level of robot-like compliance to obedience commands, I must say that I'm impressed with what I've seen here. I did not think that any hound breed could be trained to this level of precision obedience, which is normally found only in German working breeds.

  • Great - RR´s can work in Obedience, too. I like watching your video ;-)

  • amazing! do you have any tips to give when training a rhodesian ridgeback obedience? I have a Golden Retriver and she is very obedient. But that is not the same thing. Love your videos!

  • Good job, and dog is happy and focused, joy to watch..
