Installing swype on the HTC Incredible droid phone

[Edit] UPDATE 1/10/11 This is an older video with a link to the older file, at the time of the video it works, as of right now I'm getting mixed feedback from people. If it doesn't work, move on. If it does work. cool beans. As far as people saying sharebee is making them click on links or take surveys disable popups and you shouldn't have an issue. Installing swype on my HTC Incredible droid phone.

For the file needed go to

Once downloaded copy the file directly to your phone SD card. Open up the file using a file manager like Astro, go to settings and turn the swype keyboard on, use the tutorial located at the bottom of the swype settings, if need be reset the phone.

SlideIT is very similar but has the advantage that you get the microphone so that you can still do voice to text.
