In this lesson you are going to learn how to ask and tell the time in Italian...you may think it's hard but it's not! :) Just watch it again and again until you memorize it :D. Oh be careful at "è" and "e", they have the same sound but the first one is the third singular person of the verb "essere", the second one is the conjuction "and". A special thanks to Ella, alias Erla (no other information avaiable xD) who helped me in that phone conversation (she's got a very MAMMAMIA! Italian accent even if she's not italian :P)
If you have any questions you can send me a message or contact me on skype!
Enjoy watching ;-)!

  • the h is silent in hour

it is pronounced more like 'our'

good video but I hope you make ones dealing with more complicated verb tenses and expressions soon. This is too easy

  • Thanks for the info :)...I should improve my English pronunciation, it's too hard for me xD.

I prefer starting with basic expressions, then moving on more complicated ones.

  • Thank you for your comments, they really mean a lot to me. ..I hope you'll always keep supporting me ^^.

  • Very clear and understandable speaking - slow but not too slow! this format you have used allows the use with MP3 players very good!

  • how do you practice having a more convincing and natural italian accent? I have a part where I play an italian girl and need to learn how to speak with an accent. Getting it in italian isn't so bad, but keeping it in english it is really tricky.

  • i am teaching myself italian and this clip helped me understand how to tell time. Your clips are clear and easy to understand

  • Difficule

  • Are the "E`" things supposed to be È's?

  • I'd say your english is almost perfect. I'd like more of that sexy italian coming through ;)

thanks for the videos! I want to move to italy!!!!

  • grazie per le informazioni. btw, your voice appears like my classmate Giovani, so sweet. It's a brilliant work!

  • This was very helpful,Grazie! :D

  • @Rocket277 Don't worry about your pronunciation, you just need a good pronunciation dictionary and you'll learn. Believe me, I know. ;D

Concerning these videos of yours, I'm more than thrilled, because I'm currently taking some classes (or course) in Italian and I must say that my professor told us, more or less, the same thing as you did, but somehow I don't get what she's saying, but I DO understand you.

  • Lovedommen, no, those sentences you mentioned are all 100% correct :)
