Oh poor moras, they are the most abused knives out there. Just ordered a whole bunch of them, hope they will serve me well :D

Those are two great skills to learn. Thanks!

If only Star Wars lightsabers were real. Itll make the job easier.

First time I've seen that done. Well impressed how clean the cut is

I like Mora knives, but the handles are mega flimsy if you put them through too much, I know somebody whose handle broke cutting Reikäleipä bread with their Mora.

whats the name of this mora modell?
-
Dude! You went through that first one faster than a chainsaw. It takes me longer to cut up a hotdog. LOL
-
wow i need to try that some time, i beat the crap out of my mora #1 but it doesn't really have any problems and i dont care if it breaks because it was $8 :)

great vid. but using your own advice of not cutting straight across through all the fibres, why not use the same idea with your second method?
What model are you using?

@3antaralhatab The Clipper is a good model. Bushcraft Outfitters has several Moras to choose from.

The first method is awesome! Does it work with about 2-4 cm thick pieces of Hazel, too? Because then I wouldn't have to carry a folding saw with me all the time.

@666eistee If Hazel is soft I would say yes.
