We have another Dissidia video incoming. Now, the father fights the son as Jecht strives to defeat Tidus!
Jecht is pretty tough in the hands of a competent computer or a player who knows how to work with him. I... am neither of those. Still, he's pretty cool to play with, despite only having a few attacks compared to everyone else.
In FFX, Jecht is Tidus' father who dissapeared ten years before the game started. He ends up in Spira after being attacked by Sin, and learns that his home of Zanarkand is actually just an illusion summoned up by Yu Yevon, whose daughter started the religion of Yevon to honor him and set up to tradition of defeating Sin with the Final Aeon, a process that kills the summoner who calls it. At the end of his journey, he learns that the Final Aeon requires that someone close to the Summoner must be sacrificed and their soul planted into the Aeon itself. He then finds to his dismay that Yu Yevon, who created Sin, possesses the Final Aeon when Sin is destroyed, and the Aeon itself becomes the new Sin. Jecht waits in the very core of Sin for the day when he can finally be destroyed by a Summoner and rest in peace. His hope comes true when his son and his friends find an alternate means of defeating Sin at the source. This makes him one of three Chaos characters who are not evil at heart.
The Music this time is The Black Mages remix of Otherworld, the boss music for battling Jecht in FFX. The original version of this song plays in Dissidia as one of three battle themes for the FFX characters.
For parents whose kids want this game, Dissidia is rated T for Teen, due to lots of references to death, violence, language (some characters say the "D-word"), and for Ultimecia, Kuja, and Cloud of Darkness' extremely skimpy outfits. For an example of each, either check one of my other videos featuring them, or search youtube for those characters. It's for the PSP.
For Viewers, please, please, PLEASE try to keep comments PG or lower. I've no aversion to swearing (though I don't swear aloud in the real world), if, beyond all possibility, a parent DOES come by to take a look at the game before buying it for their kids, I'd like a friendly environment to await them. Thank you.

No kidding. I'm a bit better with him in Dissidia 012.

how can you do that the opponent says something at the start of a battle?
In my game it seems that always the player character says something...

Go to the options menu, then find the option for long intros. You can also do random intros, which will randomly choose between the short intros your character gives, and the long intros the enemy gives.

In Dissidia they used the original song as used in FFX. I sorta like both versions, but normally I don't like the deep, scratchy voice used in songs like Otherworld, with Otherworld being the exception.
