Narrow feet, goal pace run, how to lace your shoes, and more!

How often and when do you replace your shoes?

  • For a half marathon does it matter whether you train on the treadmill or outside on the road?

  • @forgetunot I trained on both. If you run on the treadmill you should put the treadmill on about a 1% incline to simulate the resistance that a road would have.

Another consideration is that running on pavement and the treadmill is very hard on the shins, etc. so you might want to switch it up on your runs and hit some dirt trails or even grass!
