Euskara munduko hizkuntzarik zaharrena ote?

Euskararen jatorri zehatza misterio handia izaten jarraitzen du gaur egun. Bideolan honetan landutako gaia liburu, artikulu eta hitzaldi askotan azaldu den gaia izan da, baina ez da modu iraunkor eta sistematiko batez ikertu den alorra izan. Horrela, euskararen jatorriak eta bere balizko ahaidetasunek jakin-min handia sortzen dute oraindik euskaldunengan eta publiko zabalarengan ere. Modu honetan, euskaldunon hizkuntzaren jatorria ikertzeari orain arte eman zaion garrantzia baino gehiago behar izango dugu, noizbait munduko misteriorik zaharrenetariko bat argitu ahal izateko. Beraz, une ona da ikerketa alor hau indartzeko.

@edithxlove Euskal Herriko leku askotan ez delako ahoskera desberdintzen, adibidez Bizkaierak orokorrean, ez du S, Z eta Xren arteko bereizketarik egiten, eta bizkaialdean beraz, ez dago bereizketa hau egiten duen jende askorik. Araba aldean ere, gauza berdintsua gertatzen da, Gipuzkoa eta Nafarroa iparraldean ordea, bereizketa nabaria da. (orokorrean noski, bizkaian ere egon baitaitezke bereizketa egiten dutenak).

@mty1 Yeah, in San Sebastian they spaeak Basque. In most of the school they learn in Basque. But in Bilbao not. I don' like Bilbao. Instead Donosti it's a beautiful city :)

@mty1 i grew up in the basque country near bilbao, I speak basque tho now I live in London. If you want to hear basque go to the coast around gernika, in Biscay. And in big cities is rarely spoken you are right.

I am planning on visiting the Basque Country. Can anyone tell me where i ought to visit in order to be able to hear the Basque Language spoken. I want to visit Bilbao, but i have been informed that Basque is rarely spoken there and generally people speak Catillian. Someone told me that in San Sebastien/Donostia Basque is spoken, is that true? I don't really want to visit a little village, any suggestions?
