Try silicone knuts, it should be a lot harder to remove. Harder to screw in, but just the same...

man you bike looks wicked gay with the reflective tape

Use red Loctite, you break the bolt befor you can twist of the nut. you can only remove it with a little heat.

Is that a corvette I spy?

what u can do to make them more theft proof is mount them inside of ur wind screen and get a bracket to hold them in place i made one so it has a ball oin the end and when im riding i can adjust them there awesome
-
how did you mount your pelican cases?
-
i have heard of people throwing a spot weld on the threads under the bolt. also check out Light Force. they have a locking nut.

Nice vid dude. I really like the solstice led lights, but man are they expensive. For a pair will run $300!!! I want to order the flood versions for my tricked out 4x4 truck, and install them in the back for hauling or backing up. If I were you I would have somebody give a quick tac weld to the nut and screw, so they can't unscrew them and rip them off.

They are $119 per w/ free 2-day shipping no tax on Amazon. Unless you were including the cost for a bracket?
It is really expensive compared to incandescent which might be all you need for your application, but its actually cheaper than HID mini-lamps which was the other route I was thinking of going.
Good idea on the spot weld. Might do that and then hit em w/ splash of spray paint.

What size are the pelican cases and how did you mount them? I'm thinking about trying to retro a couple of top loading 1430's for side cases.

Sorry for the late reply, they are Pelican 1520s, 52 liter capacity combined IIRC. They are mounted to a Pelican PL532 rack. They have two hockey pucks cut in half and mounted to latch onto the bottom bar of the Givi rack, and then the top is simply a hand-screw. I put a link in the info deal on the top right ---->
