Obammy does care more about his popularity than he does for the Iranian protestors.
Besides, he worked a deal with the Iranian leaders before he was elected. How will these protestors look at Obama if he now negotiates with the unelected President Imanutjob?

Please do not ask Obama to do things that are best in the interest of Democracy or the United States. He was born a in a foreign country Kenya, he went to Muslim schools, he traveled with a foreign passport, he was influenced by Marxists and criminals like Ayers, Alinsky, etc., he went to church for 20 years under a radical anti-American preacher, etc.
